Early Life
Grant Cardone was born on March 21, 1958 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. His father and mother were Curtis Louis Cardone (passed away in 1968) and Concetta Neil Cardone (passed away in 2009).
Grant has a twin brother called Gary, and he’s the fourth child out of five. He got admission in LaGrange High School in Lake Charles and finally graduated at McNeese State University in 1981.
They gave him an award in 2010 named the McNeese State University Distinguished Alumnus Award. That’s amazing!
Career
Grant decided not to pursue his field of accounting right after college. Instead, in 1987, he packed up and moved to work for a sales training company in Chicago, Illinois.
He traveled all around the U.S., living in Houston, Texas for five years, then La Jolla, California for 12 years, and finally settled in Los Angeles. Along this amazing journey, Grant faced some problems, and when he was 25, he entered rehab to get things done.

He started to show his interest in real estate when he was young, but when he was 29 years of age, his interest increased a lot. He purchased a single-family house in Houston and rented out the property.
When the tenants left the house, he sold this property. After five years, he got a 38-unit complex for $1.9 million in San Diego. He paid a down payment of only $350,000. After one month, he again bought another complex.
He kept buying more properties and by 2012, you may be surprised that his company Cardone Capital spent $58 million to own 1,016 apartment complexes.
Personal Life
Grant Cardone married to actress Elena Lyons Rosaia on July 4, 2004. Elena gave birth to two daughters named Scarlett and Sabrina. Cardone is a member of the Church of Scientology.
Grant Cardone had his first marriage at an age of 35 that lasted only for one year. His first wife was happy to get $1,000,000. Actually, they both quitted the marriage long before it officially ended. Cardone said about this:
“The fact was I was wrong for her, and she was wrong for me.”
Malibu Mansion
Grant Cardone bought a 9,500 square-foot home for a whopping $40 million in Malibu, California. It is located on Carbon Beach. At one point, it was listed for $50 million.
